Agfa HealthCare opens new offices in Riyadh

Agfa HealthCare, a provider of integrated IT and imaging solutions, recently inaugurated its new offices in Riyadh as part of its efforts to consolidate its leading position in the Kingdom’s health care IT sector.
The new offices also highlight the company’s commitment to contributing to the expansion of the local health care sector by providing cutting-edge solutions and technologies.
Princess Astrid of Belgium spearheaded the inauguration, which was also attended by high level delegations from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Belgian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Marc Vinck, Agfa HealthCare Export Region Director Guenther Schreiber and delegates from Agfa HealthCare's industrial partners, including Advanced Electronics Co. (AEC), Gulf Medical Co. (GMC), and Barco NV.
During the event, the speakers highlighted the country’s ambitious health care digitization plan and commended the MOH for the extensive scope of the undertaking. The speakers also expressed appreciation for Agfa HealthCare’s achievements and investment in local expertise.
