Prince Alwaleed awards SR200, 000 to Almahmal Sports Club

JEDDAH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received on Sunday, players and members of Almahmal Sports Club, led by Abdulaziz AlShiban, at KHC headquarters.
Prince Alwaleed met AlShiban, who was accompanied by the team’s delegation. The two discussed the latest updates of the club and its achievements. The prince stressed the need to support sports, athletes, development of clubs in the Kingdom, encourage the young generation to hone its athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.
As a form of encouragement, Prince Alwaleed awarded the club members and players a total of SR110, 000 for the club’s budget. In response to the team’s request, Prince Alwaleed also donated a bus for the team. This honor comes as the club achieved success in football, gymnastics and tennis.
AlShiban thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement to clubs and sport federations in Saudi Arabia. The team presented a trophy to Prince Alwaleed in recognition of his continued support of sports.
