Power generation, renewables focus of Saudi Energy show

The interest generated from the growing demand for energy has facilitated 314 local and international exhibitors from 28 countries to participate in Saudi Energy 2014, which was flagged off in Riyadh.
On behalf of Minister of Water and Electricity Minister Abdullah Al-Hussayen, Deputy Minister for Electricity Saleh bin Hussein Al-Awaji, inaugurated Saudi Energy 2014 — the international trade exhibition for electricity, power generation, alternative energy, water technology and lighting, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RIEC).
The three-day show is the premier energy event to showcase products and services in the field of energy.
It was also made a platform for a number of technical seminars highlighting major industry topics.
Organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company and Informa Exhibitions, Saudi Energy enjoys a notable international interest translated into major national pavilions from Germany, Turkey, India, China, Romania, Italy and Taiwan, in addition to various leading companies participating from other countries.
The comprehensive event covers all aspects of the industry, namely electricity generation and distribution, alternative and renewable energy technologies, modern lighting products and technologies, and water and water resources management technologies.
