Alfaisal University, Siemens partner for skills development in health care

Siemens, described as the global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering operating in the fields of energy, health care, infrastructure and industry signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alfaisal University that aims to build technical capacity, promote continuous medical education and provide technologies that support learning among medical practitioners.

The signing ceremony was concluded at the College of Medicine, Alfaisal University in Riyadh by Dr. Khalid Al-Kattan, dean of the College of Medicine at Alfaisal University, and Dr. Annas Zarei, higher education and government relation consultant of Siemens Healthcare Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Khalid Al Kattan commended Siemens for its continued contribution toward sustainable health care in the Kingdom. “The agreement stands to strengthen the ties between the two organizations, as Siemens will contribute toward education in the field of imaging for master training programs at the University.”
