RIYADH: As Saudi Arabia gets ready to celebrate the 87th Saudi National Day, LuLu Saudi Hypermarkets has announced that exciting preparations are underway. A variety of celebrations will be held at all LuLu outlets in the Kingdom on Sept. 22 and 23 in celebration of National Day. LuLu will present a number of special offers for its guests to enjoy the festive atmosphere and all events.
Lulu expressed best wishes to all Saudi citizens and also its gratitude to the rulers and people of this noble country for their kindness and help in making LuLu the largest hypermarket group in Saudi Arabia.
“This year our celebrations are the first of their kind and LuLu Hypermarkets is pleased to offer a diverse selection of locally grown fruits, vegetables, and other Saudi products at attractive prices. LuLu is the ultimate venue for a memorable shopping experience with friends and family,” said Bashar Naser Al-Bashar, head of administration at LuLu Hypermarkets.
Thanks to the well-known and much-discussed Saudi Vision 2030, locals and expatriates alike will have the opportunity to enjoy the environment which showcases an eclectic combination of the Saudi cultural dance, “Ardha,” and the Egyptian dance, “Thanoora,” along with other cultural shows and music.
Commemorating the Kingdom’s 87th National Day, LuLu will present an 87-meter long cake at its outlet in Murabba, Riyadh.
Emphasizing Saudi culture, LuLu will present an Islamic Cultural Exhibition, which includes a rare handwritten copy of the Holy Qur’an, the smallest copy of the Holy Qur’an ever printed which can only be read with a magnifying glass, and copies of the Holy Qur’an published in different languages and different periods.
LuLu will showcase a rare collection of books, which deal with the culture, history, art and culture of the Arab world, coins, currencies from different parts of the world, Arab qahwa cups and a show of Arabic calligraphy.
Alternative events not to miss include a falcon show, funny games, a magic show, acrobatic dances, and a circus team. The Art & Talent program starts at 8 p.m. on both Sept. 22 and 23. A highlight of the festivities will be the impressive use of high-end technology including 3D shows, LEDs and HD projections with the results expected to be magnificent.
