RTJ Baguio Transient House posts perfect 20, claims back-to-back Team of Week honors

JEDDAH: RTJ Baguio Transient House posted the first perfect score of 20 points on the way to its second consecutive Team of the Week award and third overall during the seventh session in the OFBC (Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club) Friday Afternoon League Season 7 at the Iceland Bowling Center here.
RTJ bowlers were far and away the best on the day, sweeping the first-place points of five for three games and overall output at 2, 517 pinfalls, with their nearest pursuer, Spareshots, seven points adrift on 13.
An added bonus for RTJ, captained by Joel Nidoy, was that it took over the league lead from Youngsters, who had a bad day in the office to finish at the cellar on seven points.
Lucky Ones pooled 11 points for third place on the day while Arci-5 came through with nine points.
The honors were distributed during the session as Sergio Modar of Arci-5 and Johara Palot of Lucky Ones claimed the men’s and ladies’ Bowler of the Week award respectively.
The three-time men’s Bowler of the Week thus far in the league, Rico Bulalayao, bowled big for RTJ on 570 in concert with the rest of the team — Malou Nidoy came a pin short of 500, team manager Rudy Jamon had 495, Joel carded 477 and Jack Jarin added 471.
The duo of Carmen Duma and Benj Espinosa took charge at Spareshots with rounds of 515 and 513 while Jon Belo was a few pins shy of 500 with his 491. Noli De Leon shot 478 and Alex Duma made 436.
Palot tallied 521 to lead the Lucky Ones followed by Hadi Pacheco 496, Shahid Salvador 481, Edwin Agustin 461 and Rose Agustin 458.
Along with Modar, who fired the high series of 572, Nap Patayan, Eli Arciaga and Lita Arciaga contributed to the Arci-5 cause on 494, 467 and 459.
Youngsters drew 498 from Toto Lim. The other scorers were: Rhyan Tasic with 478, Jeff Magallanes with 453, Marlon Peralta with 445 and Sheila Monserate with 440.
