May 10: The Express Tribune report by Danish Hussain states that the National Accountability Bureau on Wednesday clarified that it had initiated the process of verification of a complaint into the money laundering allegations against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and others relying on an article published in an Urdu daily some three months ago. “When will laundered money will be returned?” was the title of an article published in Daily Ausaf on February 1, 2018. And that article was treated as a complaint whose verification is in progress now,” said the NAB spokesperson in a statement issued by the bureau on Wednesday.
