Last Ramadan, Cartier revealed the story of Jacques Cartier’s travel to the Gulf in 1912.

This year, the maison continues this story with a “Ramadan Tale,” inspired from “A Thousand and One Nights.” Set in a traditional Arabian city with the moon crescent reflecting in the water, the panther appears in the corner of a dark alley. Wherever the feline passes, lanterns light up, revealing, behind windows adorned with mashrabiya, families reunited to break fast.

Guillaume Alix, managing director of Cartier Middle East, said: “Cartier has a cherished history with the Middle East and is honored to be part of special moments in the region.  We are deeply inspired by the spirit of generosity, sharing and gathering which are at the essence of Ramadan.”
