December 7 – Dawn report by Nasir Iqbal states that the Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate affairs of leading nuclear scientist Dr Samar Mubarakmand for wasting Rs4.69 billion in the ambitious but unsuccessful Thar Underground Coal Gasification Project.
