RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, said on Wednesday said that the international community must work quickly to end the Syrian crisis.

Al-Jubeir confirmed in early February that Saudi Arabia “looks forward to the result of preserving Syria's independence and unity and leading to the removal of external forces from them.”

On the Palestinian issue, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom's firm position, saying: “We demand a solution that guarantees the rights of Palestinians”

The Saudi minister also condemned the Houthi violations in Yemen and added that the Kingdom provides support to the Yemeni people to overcome their ordeal.

He also called for an end to Iran’s human rights violations, especially in Ahwaz.
