Winners of remote-controlled aircraft flying tournament in Riyadh awarded

RIYADH: The Saudi Wireless and Remote Control Sports Federation awarded prizes to the winners of a tournament on Saturday, in which participants showed off their skills in flying remote-controlled aircraft. 

Federation president Saud Al-Fagam awarded the prizes to Ahmed Al-Anzi, who won first place; Hamad Al-Rafdan, second place; and Bilal Chaudhry, third.

The championship was part of the federation’s efforts to promote wireless sports in Saudi Arabia.

Flying radio-controlled aircraft is becoming popular in Saudi Arabia.
