January 30: Bdcrictime states that from the late 50s to the early 60s, Munaf played four Tests for Pakistan. Though he did not take the field, but he also toured with the Pakistan side on their famous first tour of the Caribbean in 1957-58. In that tour, Gary Sobers made his then world-record 365, while Hanif Mohammad played one of the great rearguard innings of all time, the 337 at Bridgetown.
Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Munaf has passed away. He was 84 years old.
