ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of defense with top Kuwaiti officials during a day-long visit to Kuwait on Thursday, the Pakistani military’s media wing ISPR said in a statement.

“Both sides agreed to increase bilateral cooperation in multiple fields of defense & security including export of defense products, training, provision of trained manpower, human resource and cooperation in counter terrorism domain,” ISPR said.
In December, Kuwait’s consul general in Karachi, Salem Youssef Al-Hamdan, said his country is ready to negotiate and devise strategies to ease the issuance of business visas with Pakistan.
