DUBAI: US-based market intelligence firm International Data Corporation is hosting a Saudi-focused summit on digital strategies on Sept. 15 – and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) will be its strategic partner.
The event comes as the Kingdom puts emphasis in adopting digital technologies as part of its goal to modernize its economy.
“As Saudi Arabia navigates the realities of the post-pandemic ‘New Normal,’ the impetus on revamping and implementing digital strategies will be a key priority for Saudi organizations,” Hamza Naqshbandi, IDC’s associate vice president for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, said.
Called the IDC Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2021, the event will discuss the Kingdom’s “digital journey,” covering topics in artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and cybersecurity.
SDAIA’s involvement in the event is in line with its mandate to support the Kingdom’s goals in data and AI.
