JEDDAH, 5 January — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd offered condolences to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on the death of his brother Al-Fouzi Mubarak in a telephone conversation yesterday. The king also wished good health and wellbeing to the president and prosperity and progress to the people of Egypt.
The president, in his turn, thanked the king for the brotherly sentiments expressed by him.
Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister defense and civil aviation, also sent cables of condolences to the president on the death of his brother. (SPA)
