RIYADH, 8 June — Labor and Social Affairs Minister Ali Al-Namlah affirmed that the sponsor will be responsible for the transportation of the dead body of the expat under his sponsorship, according to a local newspaper.
The 85th article of the labor regulations stipulates that the sponsor should pay for the cost of transporting the dead expat worker to his country.
If the expat is a Muslim and his relatives requested the body to be buried in the Kingdom, the request can be complied with.
