JEDDAH, 18 June — A senior official at the Ministry of Education, Jeddah, Mustafa Al-Harbi, stressed the need for quality education with discipline among students. He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural day and prize distribution ceremony of Afnan International School, Al-Hamra district, recently. School Chairman Ghormullah G. Al-Ghamdi gave away the prizes for academic and sports excellence. Vice Chairman S.R. Sharieff reviewed the progress of the school, which has 400 students on its rolls. He announced the opening of a special care center for physically and mentally handicapped children. Managing Director Dr. Bahafzullah felt moral education should be imparted to students. The school plans to organize Qur’an classes. It also plans to increase sports activities. The event also marked a display of fancy dress competition by KG children.
