SR15m for maintaining street lamps

JEDDAH, 24 June  — Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Muhammad Al-Jarallah signed yesterday a four-year contract with a national company to maintain street lamps in the Jeddah governorate. The SR14.98 million contract awarded to the Saudi Electrical and Cooling Co. included the maintenance and renewal of electric posts as well as repairing damaged lamp posts in various parts of the city, said Jeddah Mayor Abdullah Al-Muallami. The minister also signed three contracts worth SR121 million to asphalt and maintain streets in north and central Jeddah during the next three years. (SPA)
