Salman donates blood

RIYADH, 25 February — Riyadh Governor Prince Salman yesterday inaugurated a national campaign for blood donation organized by the Health Department in the region by donating blood. Abdullah Al-Bulaihid, undersecretary of the governorate and several high-ranking officials also attended the opening of the three-day drive. The health department in the region sent large quantities of blood to Makkah for use in the treatment of pilgrims, according to the director general of the department. Prince Salman, meanwhile, received US Ambassodor Wyche Fowler, whose tenure has come to an end, yesterday. (SPA)
