MAKKAH, 25 February — The Committee for Helping Stranded Pilgrims has set up eight posts in Makkah to help pilgrims who lose their way to return to their camps. The centers located in Misfalah, Al-Hajlah, Al-Shubaikah, Al-Falaq, Ajyad Bir Belayla, Al-Joudriyah, Ajyad Al-Sirr and Bab Umrah. The centers have already helped 3,750 pilgrims to find their way back to accommodation. The committee's action plan this year, which aims to be more effective, fast and efficient, is being complemented by computers and advanced means of communications. The manpower at these centers has also been beefed up, said Uthman Al-Mutaz, supervisor of the stranded pilgrims' centers. (SPA)
