Boosting his team with nine consecutive strikes on frames 1 to 9, Pilipina’s 264 appetizer successfully lifted the morale of his teammates as team captain Ariel Urquia and Ver Luz respectively responded with 234 & 232. Adding the moderate 171 and 164 from Rene Martinez & Roger Abantas, Global Distribution unwrapped Big One Chocolates with a 1065-1003 shield-breaking tempo which horribly dismayed Jess Escondo and Fred Monzon who fortified the chocolate kings with 251 & 203 respectively.

With Pilipina’s defused 192 on game 2, Luz, insulated by the 214 of Abantas, took charge the forefront with 235 to lead Global Distribution on the 996-895 loosening of the Big One Chocolates. Predicting a counter rally of the opponents, Global concocted a well-balanced endgame and with Pilipina topping with 225, they squeezed Big One Chocolates with 1040-879 crusher.

Providing the thickest mantle to Pilipina was Luz with 671, Urquia followed with 619 Abantas 581 & Martinez 549. Sharing similar fate with Global Distribution were the teams of Internet@Kape and Tetra Pak who profusely subdued Picpa-2002 and Dove respectively. Roger Daquioag and Eddie Tuico separately helped Salazar with 576 & 511 as a 550 each was shared by Mario Narvasa and James Galvan. Aga Mitmug with 585 handicap series played best for Picpa. This match was settled at 2788-2697.

Ricafort crated a total handicap series of 670 including his 245 & 246 on the first two games. Bonnie Garcia, who had a sparkling 257 scratch on the last game, planked Ricafort best with 660 as Rudy Punzalan, Sid Lapena and Jess Pineda lining fantastically with individual shares of 617, 614 & 557 in that order. Nap Patayan greatly defended Dove with 591.

Carding 4-1 were the Malaysia Airlines downing Sarawat Green Farms (3062-2919) and SkyFreight Forwarders snapping Amigos 2 (2830-2657). Team captain Jun Cabral mentored Malaysia Airlines in their scoring spree. Finding his track with 210 on the outset and slowing down a 189 on the mid-game, Cabral, flanked by Rene Galvan with 247, consistently rolled onto his path to seal his leadership with an explosive 256 on the ultimate. Obie Ycasas finished second to Cabral with 620, Galvan placed third with 618, Nonie Yap, with 226 & 205 on games 1 & 2, gave 607 and Danny Cofreros plugged in 560.
