JEDDAH, 1 March — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed and Baha Governor Prince Muhammad ibn Saud have agreed to intervene in a case in which a Saudi woman was allegedly denied her basic rights. The woman, Saleha from Baha, has alleged in her complaint to the governors that some people had seized her property and used their influence to send her to jail. “We will look into her case,” the Okaz newspaper yesterday quoted Prince Abdul Majeed as saying. Prince Muhammad, on his part, said the government would not allow anyone to inflict injustice on citizens nor to play with people’s honor.
