Call booths used to harass girls

ABHA, 17 March — About 90 percent of calls made at public call booths are aimed at teasing and harassing girls, according to a recent survey. Jizan Governor Prince Muhammad ibn Nasir has directed Saudi Telecom Company’s office in the region to register the names of people using call booths to take action against those who misuse the facility. There are 80 cabins in Jizan with more than 1,000 phone lines, according to the STC.
