JEDDAH, 28 March — The Kingdom will send 40 containers of relief supplies, including medicine, food, clothing and blankets to alleviate the suffering of Afghan people hit by a massive earthquake, it was announced here yesterday. The Saudi relief program, as directed by Interior Minister Prince Naif, chairman of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of Afghan People, also includes a mobile medical clinic. The announcement said the committee will give SR5 million to rebuild houses destroyed by the earthquake.
