Worker killed in warehouse fire

JEDDAH, 11 July — A worker was killed in a fire that broke out in a textile warehouse here on Tuesday. Civil Defense put out the fire in two hours. The cause of the fire is not yet clear. Another fire in Nuayriah in the Eastern Province gutted a cattle fodder warehouse resulting in an estimated loss of SR500,000. The fire was caused by a short-circuit in the truck which was parked in front of the warehouse.
