JEDDAH, 29 July — Eight persons were killed and three others injured in an accident on the Shaqeek-Darb when two cars collided head-on as a result of poor visibility caused by a dust storm. Civil Defense officers in Jizan rushed to the spot and extricated the bodies from the damaged vehicles. They also transported the injured to hospital. Another person died on Beesh-Sabiya Road when his car overturned as a result of overspeeding, Okaz reported.
