NEW DELHI, 19 August — Direct Haj flights from Jaipur in Rajasthan to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, benefiting nearly 5,000 Haj pilgrims from Rajasthan, would be introduced from next year, announced Civil Aviation Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain here yesterday. Shahnawaz said that a Haj terminal would also be constructed at the Sanganer airport in the desert state to facilitate a hassle-free journey. The runway at the airport was being extended to 10,500 feet to make way for international flights, the minister said.
