Special training for Saudi nurses

RIYADH, 6 October — Health Minister Dr. Osama Shubokshi yesterday disclosed plans to speed up the Saudization campaign in the health sector. He said the ministry was providing special training within and outside the Kingdom to Saudi nurses at government hospitals. Asked about the low rate of Saudi staff at private hospitals, the minister said it was because of the availability of cheap foreign manpower who are easy to manage and control. However, he said the sector was open to qualified Saudis. (SPA)
