Abdullah Receives Message from Bush

JEDDAH, 20 February 2003 — Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday received a message from US President George W. Bush. The message was handed to the crown prince by US Ambassador to Riyadh Robert Jordan.

Meanwhile, Prince Abdullah held talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on the latest international developments, especially the threatened US-led war on Iraq, and ways of strengthening bilateral ties. The crown prince also sent a message of appreciation to Interior Minister Prince Naif, who is chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, commending his efforts as well as the endeavors of government departments to make this year’s Haj operation a big success.
