Family Travel Down

MAKKAH, 2 April 2003 — Travel agents are expecting serious trouble if the war against Iraq continues as few Saudi families are traveling abroad, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. Saudi families are expected to travel to Cairo and Damascus rather than European countries this season, sources told the newspaper, or cancel reservations to switch to safer local destination. Foreign workers are likely to return to their countries and avoid the region.
