JEDDAH, 25 April 2003 — Yousuf Saleh Al-Nowaiser, honorary consul general of Romania to the Kingdom, has been received into the Legion of Honor by the Romanian president in appreciation of his services to Saudi-Romanian economic and commercial relations.
On behalf of the president, Romanian Ambassador Dr. Dan Mihai Barliba presented the decoration at a ceremony in the presence of Saudi businessmen and Romanian Embassy staff.
Al-Nowaiser thanked the president for the honor and expressed his hope that Saudi-Romanian business ties would continue to grow stronger.
