Health Symposium

JEDDAH, 12 September 2003 — In a move to promote better medical care in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah is to host the first International Hospital Federation Symposium from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2003. Abdul Salam Al-Madani, the IHF regional representative, said: “We have mobilized all the resources to ensure maximum and quality participation for the event.” “We are organizing a symposium in Jeddah to make update specialists and hospital administrators and raise awareness as part of our educational activities,” he added. Speakers from international organizations and local medical experts including Saudi Arabia’s King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center will deliver presentations and propose solutions to health care problems.
