RIYADH, 26 September 2003 — Bert Sabinay scored an impressive four game series of 798 to power www.Shbonline.com to a 290-130 victory over the Saudi British Bank-Sabbnet. Sabinay kept the Saudi Hollandi Bank team keglers waiting for their first honors since the league opened by emerging as the week best bowler, while Shbonline.com won their first team of the week award in the 15th week of the Interbank Tenpin Bowling League,

Aside from Sabinay who helped Shbonline team capture the coveted awards were fellow Gil Hembra, Efren Castro, Rodel Yap and Greg Antonio. Hembra and Castro toppled a four game series of 748 and 733 while Yap carded 728 series in four games.

Antonio submitted 540 series in three games and Ben Cariaga had 144 in a one-game outing. Shbonline garnered total team series handicap of 3,687 points. Danny Castro, Jojo Dimailig, Ramon Sadang and Ramil Espiritu led Sabbnet by knocking-down a series of 734, 717, 705 and 704 in four games respectively. Luis Bonguit contributed 676 points.

Sabbnet snatched an overall team series handicap of 3,536 points. The games between Sama-SBM/IBM and Saudi American Bank resulted 260-50, in favor of Sama. Sama’s team captain Teody Zulaybar led with a four-game series of 777. Guilbert Masias and Bernie Torres scored separatefour game series of 731 and 727. Clem Guelas and David Smart had a separate series of 718 and 671 in four games.

Jimmy Arguelles poured 785 series to lead Saudi American Bank. Allan dela Rosa fired a series of 708. Fred Lim scored 696 pinfalls in four games while Deo Santiago downed 467 series in three games. Tenz Taeza sealed 362 series in two matches.

The Saudi British Bank-Sabbinvest demolished the Banque Saudi Fransi (230-160) with Rey Dela and Ruel Barayoga knocking an identical four game series of 744. Vic Marzo scored a series of 734 while Jun Jabonero and Leny Sehiyo added a series of 542 and 528. Bong Rodrigo submitted 340 series in two games.

For Banque Saudi Fransi mentored by Freddie Solomon, posting the best series scores were the duo of Yusof Fernandez and Jess Bersamin who pocketed a series of 727 and 711 in four outings respectively. Noel Morales hammered 690 points in four outings while Edwin Timango and Ric Singson stole a series of 585 and 556. Solomon knocked-down 345 series in two games.

The defending champions, Saudi Investment Bank nipped the current league leaders, Philippine National Bank-Unified Team (160-130). Jun Ego, Jimmy Ocampo and Dong Calub led SAIB by posting a series of 782, 752 and 733.

Mike Sharif led PNB-Unified team by posting a series of 720 in four games.
