JEDDAH, 10 October 2003 — The 13th Perrier Open Tennis Classic sparkled into life here at the Albilad Hotel, Golden Tulip courts last Thursday with a grand opening attended by senior representatives of Basamh Trading Co, sponsors of the tournament, and the Albilad Hotel, hosts of the event.
Yousef Ageel the general manager of the Albilad Hotel, Golden Tulip together with Salem Basamh, of Basamh Trading Co, who officially opened the event with a ceremonial serve and photo session.
According to the tournament organizers Raft Ahmed Khan from Basamh Trading Co and Larry Zafe and Bob Wilson from the Albilad Hotel, Golden Tulip the tournament has once again attracted a record number of entries.
Games are being played every evening starting at 6:00 p.m., all spectators are most welcome to come along to the Albilad Hotel, Golden Tulip to watch these exciting matches being played by a number of the top players in the Kingdom.
