Licenses to Establish 55 Private Colleges

JEDDAH, 22 October 2003 — The Higher Education Ministry has issued licenses to establish 55 private colleges in various parts of the Kingdom, according to Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, deputy higher education minister for educational affairs. He said private colleges will accommodate about 50,000 students during the next five months.
