JEDDAH, 8 November 2003 — Saudi Arabian Airlines has made plans to transport some three million passengers including pilgrims during Ramadan, according to Dr. Khaled Ben-Bakr, the airline’s director general. Speaking to reporters after paying a visit to King Abdul Aziz Airport here, he said Saudia would operate 18,000 scheduled and additional flights to handle the heavy Umrah traffic. “We are ready to operate more flights to meet the needs of pilgrims,” he added.
