JEDDAH, 31 May 2004 — An Indian drama troupe from Hyderabad thrilled the audience with its "Adrak-ko-Panje" comedy show at Al-Salaam Holiday Inn recently. The skit had its hilarious moments with the head of the family running into debts in the course of his struggle to provide for his wife, six daughters and three sons with his meager salary as an office assistant and skillfully tackling his creditors.
The program, which gives a message to families in the context of India's burgeoning population, had Indian Consul General Syed Akbaruddin and his wife Padma as chief guests. It was organized by Indian Cultural Society Jeddah.
