DAMMAM, 7 June 2004 — Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) has received a certificate of appreciation from Prince Mohammed ibn Nasser ibn Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Jizan in recognition of the company’s technical training program for Saudi students at Jizan Vocational Training Center. For the past five years, ZAC has been providing vocational skills training, and has been employing the best students from each group as trainee mechanics with the company. Upon completion of a six-month training program, trainees are promoted to the position of air conditioning mechanics with Zamil CoolCare, the region’s premier air-conditioning provider. “This is a win-win situation for Zamil CoolCare and young Saudi trainees. We participate in their technical training and offer them employment opportunities. This is in line with our position as a socially responsible employer and our commitment to skill development,” said Abdul Mohsin Al-Ghamdi, the HR manager at Zamil.
