Saudi Woman Leaves Behind Treasure

JEDDAH, 25 November 2004 — The inheritors of a 120 years old woman who died in Jeddah were surprised when they opened the only box she had. They found 250 years old treasures consisting of anklets, bracelets and two rare currencies. The old woman was carefully taking care of the treasures when she was alive without anyone from her family knowing of the content of the box. The family said that the woman inherited the treasure from her mother. They found out that the currency is dated back to the year 1750.
