RIYADH: Yemen Culture Week, part of the Global Harmony 2 initiative organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority, began on Friday in Riyadh.
The event is attracting members of the Yemeni community in the Kingdom and visitors of other nationalities, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Those attending are engaging with Yemeni heritage through musical performances, entertainment shows, and displays by about 80 performers presenting traditional folk arts.
The initiative, part of the Quality of Life Program supporting Saudi Vision 2030, aims to foster cultural engagement and showcase the Kingdom’s diversity through an interactive space.
Pavilions feature traditional handicrafts, silverware, bamboo products, live demonstrations of Yemeni clothing design, and artifacts reflecting local arts.
The opening day included performances by folk groups and activities by artists and creators, drawing active participation from visitors.
