RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority organized a visit to Google as part of a tour that included six fast-growing Saudi companies from various sectors.
The visit took place in Silicon Valley, California, US, and comes within the framework of Monsha’at’s initiative to stimulate potential billion-dollar companies and enable their international expansion.
The tour included several visits, discussion sessions, and workshops addressing a number of topics, including large-scale product building, innovation culture and the visitor experience at Google, and e-commerce infrastructure.
An elite group of experts and specialists participated in the tour’s sessions and workshops, including the Lead for Product and Project Specialists at Google DeepMind, Joanna Carascalao and Software Engineer at Google, Alex Voudomirov.
Through these tours, the Authority seeks to enable Saudi entrepreneurs to access global networks of investors and experts, and to have a direct impact on the growth journey and sustainability of emerging Saudi companies.
This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting the knowledge economy and enhancing the global presence of national companies.
