DUBAI, 10 March 2005 — Saudi artist Reem Fuad Nazer will showcase her works at the International Art & Craft Expo from April 4 to 6 in Dubai’s Grand Hyatt Convention Center.
The expo, which acquires strong support of the Emirates Fine Arts Society, World Crafts Council, Craft Council South Africa and Association of Exporters and Producers of Indonesian Handicrafts, will feature arts and crafts from more than 20 countries with galleries and pavilions exhibiting some of the finest pieces on paintings, sculptures, ornamental design and more.
The first exhibition of this nature in the Middle East, it seeks to encourage exchange of ideas and expressions among artists and promote the understanding of various ethnicities. The show will also be a platform for buyers, sellers and art collectors.
The exhibition, which encourages intra-regional trade, will see art curators, connoisseurs, private collectors, interior decorators and designers, institutional buyers and traders from the Gulf states, Levant as well as the North African countries present.
Among the participating countries are Italy, England, France, the US, Canada, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, South Africa, Pakistan and India.
