JEDDAH, 10 March 2005 — The SIFF-Sadia Soccer 2005 matches on Friday (March 11) were a mix of keen contests and dull patches.
The first division match between Friends Sports and Eranad Club ended in an exciting 3-3 draw. The match was interesting from the kick-ff and both teams showed excellent ball control. The match never offered a dull moment to spectators, as both sides were quick to take control of the ball from each other.
It was in the 19th minute of the match that Sahul Hameed of Friends hit a long-range carpet shot straight into the nets, thus giving his team the vital lead until the breather.
