DUBAI: Taylor Swift made a memorable appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards over the weekend, with eagle-eyed fans of Arab fashion spotting a sparkling detail — the star was sporting a ring by French-Lebanese jeweller Selim Mouzannar.

Swift left the ceremony with seven trophies, including the coveted Artist of the Year and Best Pop Album honors.

The 36-year-old singer arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles wearing a custom mint-green ensemble by New York-based label Wiederhoeft.

Among the standout accessories was her Kindred Lubeck engagement ring, alongside a striking design by Mouzannar. Worn on the ring finger of her right hand, the Beirut Rosace  ring is crafted from 18k rose gold and diamonds, featuring a cluster of three floral-shaped stones.

Swift styled the Mouzannar ring with additional jewellery, including stacked rings from L’Dezen by Payal Shah and a Spinelli Kilcollin tennis bracelet. Her earrings also drew attention, with the singer choosing a Nak Armstrong diamond ear cuff and two-tone tourmaline drop earrings by Dena Kemp.

Swift has often turned to designers from the Middle East, with Lebanese couturiers Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab designing several looks for her Eras Tour. In her “Karma” music video, Swift wore a couture gown from Lebanese label Azzi & Osta’s “Between Light and Sea” 2023 collection, in addition to a look by Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al-Jasmi.

For the cover of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” in 2023, Swift chose a lilac tulle gown by Lebanese designer Reem Acra.

Swift used an acceptance speech to share advice with emerging artists.

“I'm a firm believer that anything you feed your mind, it will internalize, and anything you feed the internet, it will attempt to kill.”
