Lulu Chairman assures food security in meet with ministers

Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali held a meeting with Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef and Minister of Investment Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif.

During the meeting, Ali briefed the ministers on the steps taken by Lulu Group regarding the availability of food products in Saudi Arabia in view of the current situation in the Gulf region. The ministers appreciated Lulu Group’s efforts to ensure the smooth availability of food products in the country and promised all government support and assistance to Ali.

Mohamed Harris, Lulu KSA director; Nemil Nazeer, commercial director; and senior ministry officials also attended the meeting.

Lulu Retail recently marked a new milestone in its digital expansion with the launch of its “ultra-fast” delivery service Lulu Minutes in Saudi Arabia. The service is available in Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Hail, Tabuk, Yanbu, Khamis Mushait, Taif, Al-Ahsa, Hafr Al-Batin, and Jubail.
