MINA: The families of Sudanese martyrs and wounded servicemen who took part in the Decisive Storm and Renewal of Hope operations in Yemen carry memories of lost loved ones never absent from their prayers.
Arriving in the Kingdom after years of patience and heavy memories, these families have found in Hajj a sense of peace and, within the holy sites, a space to remember their loved ones through prayer and mercy.
They were hosted under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
In Mina, Sudanese pilgrim Ahmed Ibrahim reflected quietly while keeping a photo of his martyred son on his phone, saying he carried his son’s name in every act of worship.
Similarly, Ensaf Habib, sister of a martyr, tearfully described the journey as a blessed honor. Their stories reflect loss, faith, gratitude and enduring remembrance through prayer.
