MINA: The Saudi health sector delivered over 1,273,380 medical services to pilgrims from the start of the the Hajj till Thursday.
Guided by Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives, these integrated efforts ensure premium, accessible care to help pilgrims perform their rituals safely and comfortably.
According to Ministry of Health data, health centers and urgent care facilities treated 68,237 beneficiaries, emergency departments handled 52,709 cases, and outpatient clinics saw 21,253 patients.
Hospital admissions reached 5,772, including 365 major surgeries — specifically 291 cardiac catheterizations and 30 open-heart operations.
Additionally, rapid-response field teams treated 1,260 cases of heat exhaustion, while the 937 call center managed over one million inquiries.
