MAKKAH: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced the outcomes of its Hajj awareness and guidance programs, which have benefited millions of pilgrims.

The initiatives, carried out from April 18 to May 31, were part of the ministry’s plan to educate pilgrims and enhance their understanding of Hajj rituals and religious practices.

More than 145,000 outreach activities were conducted, including guidance sessions, educational lessons, lectures, and responses to pilgrims’ inquiries across Hajj sites.

The unified toll-free Islamic awareness hotline handled more than 602,000 calls in several languages, providing religious guidance and answering pilgrims’ inquiries.

The ministry’s digital screens broadcast more than 7.29 million multilingual awareness messages, helping pilgrims better understand Hajj rituals and instructions.

As part of its direct outreach efforts, the ministry sent more than 67 million text messages to pilgrims, providing guidance on Hajj rulings, rituals, and regulations.

In addition, it distributed more than 401,000 multilingual brochures covering Hajj rituals and Islamic guidelines, helping strengthen religious awareness among pilgrims.
