LONDON: Kuwait’s Interior Ministry said on Wednesday that its State Security Service foiled a terrorist plot targeting a vital facility in the country, state news agency KUNA reported.
The ministry said a Kuwaiti citizen affiliated with the militant group Daesh was arrested before the plot could be carried out.
The suspect had received training in making explosives and drones, which authorities said were intended for use in the planned attack.
