RIYADH, 19 July 2005 — The Saudi British Bank (SABB) has introduced “Amanah Personal Finance”, a new product from Amanah Islamic financial solution, to provide straightforward finance for both Saudis and expats with a minimum basic salary of SR3,000 and to self-employed individuals, according to Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, SABB deputy managing director.

“We are proud to be the first bank to provide this service to our customers. In line with our ‘Customer First’ strategy, the new service is a key part to meet the demands of our customers in a Shariah’s compliant way,” Al-Hamdan said. He said that for its various products and services, SABB has won many awards and scored many successes on both local and international levels.

“These achievements are attributed to SABB’s commitment to customer services and to the innovative programs, projects and a wide array of services to meet customers’ requirements,” Al-Hamdan said.

He added that the successes of SABB over the past years enabled it to win the “Best Equities House in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” award from Euromoney Magazine. The Standard & Poor’s, one of the world’s leading credit rating agencies, has also assigned a rating of (A-) to the SABB.
